چکیده

Untreated pharmaceutical pollution and their possibly toxic metabolites, resulting from overloaded wastewater treatment processes, end up in aquatic environments are hazardous to the ecosystem homeostasis. Biological remediation could supplement traditional methods overcome release of these biologically active compounds environment. Mycoremediation is especially promising due unspecific nature fungi decompose through exoenzymes uptake as nutrients. In present study, we improved on previous advances made using fungus Mucor hiemalis remediate one most commonly occurring pharmaceuticals, acetaminophen (APAP), at higher concentrations. The limitation nitrogen, adjustment pH, comparison to, well co-cultivation with white-rot Phanerochaete chrysosporium, were tested. Nitrogen did not significantly improve APAP efficiency M. . Maintaining pH media restraint 24 h previously observed. P. chrysosporium was far superior that hiemalis, two resulted a decreased compared single. • Adjustment slightly by hiemalis. chrysoporium exhibited better without adjustment. Co-cultivation less effective than monoculture.

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Strategies to Improve Homing of Stem Cells to achieve better Efficacy in Stem Cell Therapy

Stem/progenitor cell based therapeutic approach in our daily routine clinical practice, has been elusive dream in medical sciences and improvement of stem cell homing as one of major challenges in cell therapy programs, has been considered a promising milestone. It has been proved that stem/progenitor cells exhibit a homing response to injured tissues/organs, mediated by interactions of chemoki...

Antipyretic efficacy of acetaminophen and ibuprofen in children aged 6 months to 10 years

Introduction: Fever and consequent convulsion are among major concerns for parents of febrile children. Many antipyretic drugs are applied excessively to decrease fever in children. This research is designed to study the efficacy and stability effects of cetaminophen and Ibuprofen in febrile children aged 6 months to 10 years old. Methods: This single-blind clinical trial study was performed o...

Using Metalearning to Predict When Parameter Optimization Is Likely to Improve Classification Accuracy

Work on metalearning for algorithm selection has often been criticized because it mostly considers only the default parameter settings of the candidate base learning algorithms. Many have indeed argued that the choice of parameter values can have a significant impact on accuracy. Yet little empirical evidence exists to provide definitive support for that argument. Recent experiments do suggest ...

An approach to Improve Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm Using CUDA

The time consumption in solving computationally heavy problems has always been a concern for computer programmers. Due to simplicity of its implementation, the PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) is a suitable meta-heuristic algorithm for solving computationally heavy problems. However, despite the simplicity, the algorithm is inefficient for solving real computationally heavy problems but the pr...
